✨ Creating Videos Using AI

We got this DM on our Twitter. 

So, we dug through our database and found a tool to do exactly what this person was looking for. 

For this particular workflow, you’ll need:

Script - ChatGPT/Claude-3

B-Roll - Fliki

Alternatively, you can create your own B-roll using Pika Labs and Runway, but we’ll save that tutorial for another day. 

We want to preface this by saying that most of the videos that you see on our social media are done by an editor. We have yet to find a tool that can generate clips and edit them the way we like. 

But we bet something like that will exist in the next year or so. 

Let's begin. 

Script

We always use a hybrid approach for script writing. Typically, we’ll use our Script Writing GPT or our Ad GPT, which can be found here and here. This gives us initial ideas that we can potentially use. 

The prompt for that custom GPT is as follows:

Read the instructions from your knowledge base exactly. Do not add to the instructions or create new instructions. You are to read and follow word for word the instructions in the knowledge base titled: Jeff Lerner Ad Creator Instructions.

Once the user says "Create Ad," you are to respond back with: Absolutely. Please give me the topic or information you want me to create an ad for.

For this example, let's say I wanted to write a script about a coffee shop. 

We’ll use the ad creator. We get this result: 

HOOK: Imagine stepping into a world where every sip of coffee tells a story. A place not just known for its exquisite beans but for moments that turn strangers into friends. Welcome to Bean and Steam, where every cup is an adventure waiting to happen.

WHO: Hi, I'm Jelani, founder of Bean and Steam. We started with a simple dream: to bring people together over a great cup of coffee. Our journey began in the heart of San Diego, where we meticulously sourced the finest beans, perfected our brews, and created a space where every visit feels like coming home. Our baristas are more than just coffee experts; they're your next friend, your guide to the perfect blend, and the creators of your new favorite spot in town.

This is a good start. Let’s run with it!

Now, let’s create our B-roll. 

Putting It All Together 

We’ll use an AI tool called Fliki to generate our video with the voiceover and B-roll.

Start by going to Fliki and then creating a new file. 

Then, enter a name for your video. Select the aspect ratio and start with script/empty. Then click the “Submit” button. 

Then, you’ll see the editing screen where you’ll place your script to start the generation. 

Enter your first section of the script into the text box. 

We recommend breaking the script into parts so the scenes are longer and you can get more B-roll parts. 

You’ll also want to select a voiceover for each of the clips. In the voiceover section, double-click to access the voices available

Note: If you don’t like the voiceover options provided to you, you can use Eleven Labs to generate the voices. 

Continue adding the script into Fliki. Select the plus button to “Add a new scene.” 

Once you add in the new scene add your script. Then, click auto-pick to let AI decide which B-roll is contextual. 

Then, repeat these steps until the entire script is complete. 

You can change the clip if you don’t like the clip the AI selected or if a duplicate was added. Select the clip image.

The end result would look like this.

Then click “Download” to download your new video. 

You can see how ours came out on our YouTube. 

It’s a pretty decent video, if we’re honest. It can use a view of human edits and touches, but it’s not bad overall. It, at the very least, gets your ideas flowing. 

Now, let’s say that you want to generate a video from a prompt, blog post, Twitter post, or Amazon product; you can do so by clicking “Magic Create.” 

This skips a few steps, so you lose some control, but again, it’s a hybrid approach.

Let AI guide you with ideas, and then add the human elements that bring creatives to the next level.

This Is Scary

🤖 AI Deepfake Method

There’s a new AI tool called Viggle, and it’s scary. Viggle allows users to replace parts of a video with other video assets.

For instance, we retweeted a workflow from Max Einhorn on our Twitter that showcases how this works.

Max took a video, then inpainted (replaced) the woman in the original video and replaced it with another woman.

The entire workflow is more complex than that, but it shows that Deepfake technology is here and will only improve with time.
