Plus how to create chats in GPT-4o

Welcome back, AI’ers!

Monday’s Top Story: Google’s AI search function can’t catch a break.

People have found that when using the AI search feature they get back results that are…well…concerning to say the least.

For example: Google suggested using ‘about 1/8 cup of non-toxic glue’ to keep cheese from sliding off pizza. LOL

Other instances of AI Overviews generating incorrect or questionable information include:

  • Claiming former US President Barack Obama is Muslim, despite being a practicing Christian.

  • Recommending drinking urine to treat kidney stones.

  • Stating that elephants have two feet with varying numbers of toes.

  • Suggesting geologists recommend daily rock consumption.

This is why we always say don’t believe everything AI says!
