Claude used to be the king of AI writing tools. Clean outputs, strong reasoning, and reliably good drafts—it was a no-brainer subscription for me.
But lately, ChatGPT 4o and 4.5 have gotten so good, my Claude subscription is hanging by a thread.
Here's what changed:
Quality & Consistency:
Claude was unbeatable for clear, professional writing. But ChatGPT 4o now matches or exceeds that, especially with structured content like emails, newsletters, and guides.Speed & Usability:
ChatGPT 4o is faster. Not just response-time fast, but in workflow. It gives me a polished first draft quicker, meaning fewer back-and-forth edits.Context & Memory:
Claude still forgets context too quickly for longer projects. ChatGPT 4.5? It remembers details better, helping me build longer, cohesive pieces without constantly reminding the model of previous points.
Bottom line: ChatGPT stepped its game up big time. Claude needs to respond fast, or I'll move completely to OpenAI.
