AI ON MY MIND

Happy Monday,

NVIDIA has launched a new computer designed to be the central brain for the next wave of physical AI and robotics. The new hardware aims to put server-level performance directly inside autonomous machines, enabling them to run complex models on-device.

This major leap in on-device computing power could significantly accelerate the development of more capable autonomous systems. How quickly will we see this new generation of faster-reacting robots move from factories into more public-facing roles?

By the way, I've been getting questions about how AI works in practice, so I'm launching a separate newsletter that dives deeper into real business applications and practical advice. [Click here if you're interested].

A MESSAGE FROM OUR PARTNER

Learn from this investor’s $100m mistake

In 2010, a Grammy-winning artist passed on investing $200K in an emerging real estate disruptor. That stake could be worth $100+ million today.

One year later, another real estate disruptor, Zillow, went public. This time, everyday investors had regrets, missing pre-IPO gains.

Now, a new real estate innovator, Pacaso – founded by a former Zillow exec – is disrupting a $1.3T market. And unlike the others, you can invest in Pacaso as a private company.

Pacaso’s co-ownership model has generated $1B+ in luxury home sales and service fees, earned $110M+ in gross profits to date, and received backing from the same VCs behind Uber, Venmo, and eBay. They even reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.

TODAY’S TOP STORIES

NVIDIA's New Brain for Robots

The Recap: NVIDIA has launched Jetson Thor, a powerful new computer designed to be the central brain for the next wave of robots and physical AI. It provides a massive performance boost to run complex AI models directly on the device.

Unpacked:

  • It delivers a 7.5x increase in AI compute compared to its predecessor, enabling robots to process massive amounts of sensor data in real time.

  • Industry leaders like Agility Robotics and Boston Dynamics are already integrating Jetson Thor into their humanoid robots to enhance perception and decision-making.

  • This performance leap allows for real-time reasoning at the edge, letting robots run large generative AI models locally without relying on the cloud.

Bottom line: Jetson Thor puts server-level AI performance directly into robots, drastically lowering the barrier for creating autonomous systems. This development will speed up the deployment of advanced robotics in warehouses, factories, and beyond.

AI's $100M Political Machine

The Recap: Top AI leaders, including Andreessen Horowitz and OpenAI's Greg Brockman, have launched a new political Super PAC called 'Leading the Future' with over $100 million in funding to shape AI policy ahead of the 2026 elections.

Unpacked:

  • The group aims to support pro-innovation candidates and oppose restrictive policies that could slow down AI development or allow China to gain a competitive advantage.

  • 'Leading the Future' will operate as a network of federal and state Super PACs, enabling it to fund independent campaigns and influence both primary and general elections.

  • The initial rollout will focus on key states identified as AI policy battlegrounds, including New York, California, Illinois, and Ohio, before expanding nationally in 2026.

Bottom line: This move signals the AI industry is formally entering the political arena to proactively shape its own regulatory future. The substantial funding ensures its voice will be a major factor in upcoming policy debates that will define the technology's trajectory in the U.S.

MY FAVORITE AI TOOLS

Relevance is my favorite AI tool right now (even more so than N8N).

Here’s why:

It’s an AI agent building tool that doesn’t require you to build out the logic using nodes. Instead, you use natural language to build out these agents. But the best thing imo is that you can build AI Agent teams.

Like agents talking to each other completing a goal until its done. It’s nuts. No other tool on the market is doing this. You have to check it out.

Apple's AI SOS to Google

The Recap: Apple is reportedly in talks with its biggest rival, Google, to license the Gemini AI model. This move aims to power a completely rebuilt Siri after Apple's in-house efforts hit significant delays.

Unpacked:

  • A major Siri upgrade has been pushed to 2026, creating urgency for Apple to find a powerful and ready-to-deploy AI solution.

  • The talks aren't just preliminary; Google has already built a custom Gemini model designed to run on Apple’s private servers.

  • Apple is still exploring its options by developing two internal Siri versions, named Linwood and Glenwood, and has previously held discussions with Anthropic and OpenAI.

Bottom line: This potential deal underscores the immense pressure on Apple to deliver competitive AI features, even if it requires help from its main competitor. A Gemini-powered Siri could finally deliver the intelligent assistant iPhone users have been waiting for.

Meta and Midjourney's Visual Pact

The Recap: Meta announced a partnership with Midjourney to integrate its best-in-class aesthetic technology into future AI models, signaling a major push to upgrade visual and video generation for its billions of users.

Unpacked:

  • The deal gives Meta access to Midjourney's renowned aesthetic technology, aiming to improve the visual quality of its AI-generated content.

  • This integration will directly enhance Meta's future AI models, promising a major leap in quality for both image and video generation features.

  • The collaboration arrives as Midjourney prepares for its own highly anticipated video generation debut, positioning both companies at the forefront of visual AI.

Bottom line: This partnership highlights a growing trend of tech giants collaborating with specialized AI leaders to accelerate innovation. Users on Meta's platforms can expect to see more powerful and creative visual tools integrated directly into their apps.
