OpenAI has fired back at Elon Musk's lawsuit, asserting its intention to dismiss all claims made by Musk.

The legal dispute revolves around allegations of breach of contract and profit motives.

OpenAI has countered Musk's accusations by citing emails and highlighting the evolution of their relationship, indicating a significant shift from collaboration to legal confrontation.

The kicker here is that OpenAI blasted their email conversations with Elon on Twitter. Yikes!

If you’ve read this newsletter for a while, you know how much we love Perplexity. We wrote about it a few times, but it continues to be our #1 AI tool for productivity.

Even over ChatGPT. 

Its ability to search the web in real-time, analyze data, and feed it to us in the format we want makes our lives so much easier… especially when it comes to writing this newsletter and managing our website. 

One feature that is not talked about enough is Perplexity Collections. 

We often find ourselves writing the same thing repeatedly, but with Collections, we write our prompt once and don’t have to repeat it. 

For example, we regularly update our website, bestofai.com. However, some of those updates require manual intervention, like adding the pricing details of a specific tool. 

Instead of manually going to the site, finding the pricing details, and writing a summary, we can prompt Perplexity.

As you can see in the screenshot, we told Perplexity to go to a specific website, find their pricing packages,  provide me with the HTML output, and give me a summary. 

The output was this:

Now, here is where collections come into play. Instead of finding the Perplexity thread containing this prompt and using it on a new tool URL, I can add it to a collection.

Start by going into Perplexity and accessing your library. Then click the plus button in the right-hand side menu. 

Next, enter a title, description, and the prompt that you want to use.

Now, we can use this collection every time we need the pricing for a tool. 

You can create collections for all sorts of tasks. It’s a power play that will make your research 10x faster.
