AI ON MY MIND
Three years ago, I would have considered myself weak in strength.
I didn’t play sports or lift weights. I wasn’t doing the things that would make me stronger.
I was focused on other things… then everything changed when I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis.
I had to make a change for my health.
I started being more active, working out five times a week.
Three years later, I can now bench press 275 pounds for 3 repetitions (I only weigh 170).
You might be thinking, “Why is the author of this newsletter talking about working out? I thought this was an AI newsletter.”
My point is, using AI is like a muscle.
It's an activity that needs consistent effort to get real results.
It won’t take you years, but it might take a few months of using AI consistently to use it reliably.
You can either choose to adopt it willingly or be forced to make the change.
Here are three things you can do to train your brain to be AI-first:
Use https://perplexity.ai instead of Google. Perplexity AI is like having a highly intelligent research assistant at your fingertips. When you ask it a question, it doesn’t just provide a list of links like a traditional search engine. Instead, it searches the internet in real-time, gathers information from reliable sources, and synthesizes it into a clear, concise answer.
Use ChatGPT or Claude for advice on the decisions you're about to make. AI is a great thought-companion. It will often steer you in a better direction than asking a friend or family member.

🎥 TikTok’s parent launched a web scraper that’s gobbling up the world’s online data 25-times faster than OpenAI (LINK)
ByteDance, TikTok's parent company, has launched an aggressive web scraper called Bytespider that's collecting online data at an unprecedented rate. The bot is scraping data 25 times faster than OpenAI's GPTbot and 3,000 times faster than Anthropic's ClaudeBot, potentially to catch up in the AI race.
Bytespider ignores robots.txt, a code meant to prevent data scraping, raising concerns about copyright infringement and data privacy.
ByteDance released Bytespider in April 2024, quickly becoming one of the most aggressive scrapers on the internet.
• The company may be using this data to develop a new large language model (LLM) for improving TikTok's search function.
This aggressive scraping comes despite the possibility of TikTok being banned in the U.S. due to national security concerns.

You read that right.
Someone built an AI bot that applied to 1,000 jobs in 24 hours and landed 50 job interviews.
The code, which is publicly available on GitHub (link), does the following:
Automates your LinkedIn job search and application process
Scans for openings matching your criteria
Applies to jobs using LinkedIn's "Easy Apply"
Generates tailored resumes
It also integrates with OpenAI’s API for AI-driven features, allowing for LLM model selection (OpenAI, Ollama, Claude, Gemini).
Wild, right? As one Twitter user pointed out, so many rules are being broken, and many people are unaware of the new job market we’re stepping into.
