AI ON MY MIND
So this is embarrassing…
On Friday I said I would have my friend Ted, who is an AI researcher, explain what is an AI agent.
But I didn’t actually include the screenshot.
I apologize. Here is what Ted had to say about AI agents.
He went into deeper explanation but it was too long…so part two of his response coming tomorrow.

Writer RAG tool: build production-ready RAG apps in minutes
RAG in just a few lines of code? We’ve launched a predefined RAG tool on our developer platform, making it easy to bring your data into a Knowledge Graph and interact with it with AI. With a single API call, writer LLMs will intelligently call the RAG tool to chat with your data.
Integrated into Writer’s full-stack platform, it eliminates the need for complex vendor RAG setups, making it quick to build scalable, highly accurate AI workflows just by passing a graph ID of your data as a parameter to your RAG tool.

Google is set to launch Gemini 2.0 in December 2024, marking a one-year anniversary since the release of its first version. Despite performance gains not meeting initial expectations, Google plans a wide release for both developers and end users. The launch would establish a yearly release cycle for Google's major AI models, positioning between their May I/O developer conferences.
The new model follows Gemini 1.5's February release, which featured an expanded context window.
Performance improvements are reportedly lower than anticipated, a trend observed across major AI companies developing large language models.

✨ AI Replicating Artist Is Too Easy
This paper answers a big question in both legal proceedings & discussions of AI art: how many samples of a real artist or person does an AI image generator need in order to produce something in a recognizable style?
So, AI needs 200-600 images in its training data for imitation.

There’s been a new paper released that claims AI only needs 200-600 samples to replicate an artist likeness. If that’s true, then that means no artist is safe.
