AI ON MY MIND
Happy Friday!
Today’s post is running a bit late, but it’s for a good reason—I’ve been pulling all-nighters to revamp our flagship AI-Powered Entrepreneur course.
The original had a whopping 188 videos (a true beast).
The new version will be more streamlined but still packed with the insights you need to stay competitive as AI reshapes everything.
Exciting stuff ahead.
If you’re not a student yet and want early access to the 2.0 version, just reply with “2.0” and I’ll add you to the shortlist.
Already a student? You’re all set. You’ll get free access—no hoops to jump through.
Now, let’s get into the news.

TODAY’S TOP STORIES
🔵 Bluesky says it won’t train AI on your posts
Bluesky, the decentralized social network, has firmly stated they won't use user posts to train AI models, marking a clear stance in the ongoing debate about AI training data. This declaration comes as social platforms grapple with how to handle user data in the age of AI development. The platform emphasizes user control and transparency, differentiating itself from competitors like X (formerly Twitter) and Meta.
Bluesky's CEO Jay Graber explicitly stated the platform won't monetize user data for AI training, prioritizing user trust and data sovereignty.
The platform's federated structure allows users to maintain control over their data while still participating in the social network.
This position contrasts with other social media giants that have modified their terms of service to allow AI training on user content.
😱 How Elon Musk’s Supercomputer Freaked Out AI Rivals
xAI's supercomputer Colossus, built in a converted Memphis factory in just 122 days, has stunned the AI industry with its unprecedented size of 100,000 GPUs and lightning-fast construction speed, causing anxiety among competitors like OpenAI and prompting a new arms race in AI infrastructure development.
The facility was built by repurposing an old appliance manufacturing plant and using gas-powered turbines, catching the attention of rival companies who conducted aerial surveillance
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang noted that such projects typically take 4 years, yet xAI completed it in just 122 days by cutting corners and bypassing traditional precautions
The project has sparked concern from OpenAI's CEO Sam Altman, leading the company to seek alternatives to Microsoft and plan a competing 100,000-chip facility in Abilene, Texas
🤓 ChatGPT can now read some of your Mac’s desktop apps
OpenAI has launched a new feature for ChatGPT's MacOS desktop app that enables it to read code directly from developer tools like VS Code and Xcode, eliminating the need for manual copy-pasting. The feature, called "Work with Apps," currently focuses on coding applications and is available for Plus and Teams users, with Enterprise and Edu rollouts planned for the coming weeks. While it can't write code directly into apps like GitHub Copilot does, OpenAI sees this as a crucial step toward building more sophisticated AI agents.
The system uses MacOS Accessibility API to read text from apps, though some applications like VS Code require special extensions.
ChatGPT can process up to 200 lines of code as context alongside user prompts.
OpenAI plans to expand this functionality to other text-based apps for writing tasks, with a broader AI agent codenamed "Operator" expected in early 2025.
