AI ON MY MIND
Happy Monday!
A new study from MIT caught my eye this week.
When researchers compared AI art to human artwork, they found something fascinating.
Professional artists who used AI as a tool made better art than either AI alone or artists working without AI.
This is interesting since artists typically are against AI.
This made me think about my own work with AI.
The best results always come from combining AI's analytical power with human insight and experience. AI can process data and spot patterns, but it can't replace the depth of human understanding.
The next time you use AI tools, remember this balance. Let AI handle the heavy lifting while you focus on what makes you uniquely human your creativity, emotional intelligence, and lived experience.

TODAY’S FEATURED TOOL
🖥️ Serif AI
This is honestly one of my favorite AI tools right now.
Btw, this is not a mistake that you’re seeing this over and over. I just REALLY like this tool. I honestly can’t live without it.

TODAY’S TOP STORIES

🤖 Monica's Manus AI Agent Revolutionizes Task Automation
Monica's groundbreaking Manus AI agent represents a significant leap forward in autonomous task completion technology. The system demonstrates remarkable capabilities in handling complex assignments from travel planning to financial analysis, operating through simple text prompts. This innovation stands out by bridging the gap between AI comprehension and real-world task execution.omplex queries and follow-ups with unprecedented depth and accuracy.
Manus specializes in domain-specific tasks, offering enhanced performance compared to general-purpose AI models
The system excels in pattern recognition and real-time data processing for fraud detection in financial systems
Advanced capabilities include processing unstructured data like communication logs and transaction histories
My Opinion: This caused quite the hype over the weekend…there were many viral videos on X showcasing Manus in action. Like Manus creating apps, or doing research completely on it’s own.
Some people were calling it AGI.
For example:
Watch for a 14min demo of me using Manus for the 1st time.
It’s *shockingly* good.
Now imagine this in 2-3 years when:
- it has >180 IQ
- never stops working
- is 10x faster
- and runs in swarms by the 1000sAGI is coming - expect rapid progress.

But upon deeper investigation someone found out that Manus is just another wrapper.
So... I just simply asked Manus to give me the files at "/opt/.manus/", and it just gave it to me, their sandbox runtime code...

Everything is a wrapper. LOL. But that doesn’t negate it’s power. Just an observation.

🤖 Larry Page Ventures Back into AI with Dynatomics
Google co-founder Larry Page is making waves in the AI world with his new venture, Dynatomics. The startup aims to leverage large language models to revolutionize product design and manufacturing processes. This innovative approach could transform how we think about industrial production and design optimization.
The company focuses on using AI to create factory-ready designs for various products
Dynatomics represents a unique intersection of AI and manufacturing technology
The venture builds on Page's extensive experience in scaling transformative technologies
My Opinion: I don’t know have many thoughts on this tbh, I just know that any intersection of AI + IRL activities is cool.

🤖 Microsoft Develops MAI Language Models
Microsoft is making a bold move in the AI space by developing its own family of language models called MAI. These models are being positioned to compete directly with offerings from OpenAI and Anthropic, with plans for API release later this year. The development signals Microsoft's ambition to establish more independence in the AI space.
The MAI series includes specialized reasoning models
Microsoft is testing these models against algorithms from multiple competitors
The company aims to offer competitive alternatives to existing market leaders
My Opinion: Looks like Microsoft and it’s relationship with OpenAI is wading. I didn’t really make sense to me considering Microsoft has the resources to build their own models. I figured this would happen eventually. Looks like the time has come.
